My Son’s New Wife Assumed I Was Struggling Until I Revealed My Estate

The reception was already in full swing when my daughter-in-law decided to make an announcement.

The ballroom was glowing with crystal chandeliers, champagne glasses filled the tables, and guests were still smiling after the speeches. At first, I thought she was simply giving another heartfelt toast.

Then I said the words she never expected to hear.

“I live on Willowbrook Estate—the home your father-in-law and I restored together over twenty years ago.”
